Biography of Alexander Kolesnikov

The talented Russian astrologer Alexander Kolesnikov was born on April 1, 1961 in the city of Tokmak, Kyrgyz USSR.

His father - Gennady Mikhailovich Kolesnikov - came from Tokmak, who at that time worked as an aviation weapons engineer and later as a scientist at the leading military specialist part of the Cosmonaut Training Center - see the Wikipedia article.

His mother - Kolesnikova Liliya Ivanovna - was a doctor-therapist (acupuncture therapist).

In 1965, the family moved to Star City, due to the fact that the father was enrolled in the cosmonaut detachment of the 3rd set.

In 1978, Alexander graduated from his secondary special school C. M. Komarova in Star City.

In his school years, he was interested in chemistry. In his own words: “When I was 13, I read chemistry textbooks for all classes and then read different books in chemistry lessons.

When teacher called, I answered and solved tasks without difficulty”.

In his graduation class, his essay on chemistry took first place at a competition at Moscow State University.

He was invited to become a student at the Chemical Faculty, but Alexander chose the fate of a military officer, like his father and grandfather.

Despite poor eyesight, flat feet, and not paying attention to his parents' advice, he entered the Serpukhov High Military Command School where, in 1983, he graduated with honors.

When he was assigned, he was offered to stay and serve at school, but Alexander chose to "serve his country" and went to Plesetsk, Arkhangelsk region, together with his wife.

After three years of service at the training ground, having passed the candidate's minimum, he was transferred to Central Research Institute No. 4 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region where he became a junior researcher there.

In 1990, at the rank of captain and with the prospect of a successful career, he retired from the ranks of the Armed Forces.

In the late 1980s, he became interested in astrology and esotericism.

He began to attend seminars and lectures, including foreign astrologers, where he worked as a translator for them.

Out of all the teachers who existed at that time, he chose Augustina Filippovna Semenko for himself.

He was attracted by her deep knowledge and applied approach to the subjects.

After several months of employment, she began to trust Alexander to conduct lectures for beginners in her "Vronskogo school”.

In the early 90s, Alexander met the clairvoyant Raisa Danilovna Ryk and began to give popular lectures on astrology at her "School of Clairvoyance”.

Then he began collaborating with an entrepreneur who published popular weekly astrological forecasts.

His interest in astrology deepened and in 1992, Alexander met Maggie Hyde and Jeoffrey Cornelius, who came to Moscow for an astrological conference.

The acquaintance turned into a long and warm friendship. In 1994 and 95, Alexander visited England and spoke at conferences of The Company of Astrology.

He met leading astrologers in Great Britain: Derek Appleby, Julia and Derek Parker, Nick Campion and Liz Green, and many others.

He then began studying a course in horary astrology under the guidance of Maggie Hyde.

In 1997, the ANS publishing house released his first book, “Rhythms of the Universe and Human Health.”

According to Alexander, this book was actually a summary of Avgustina Filippovna Semenko’s course for beginners in studying astrology.

In those years, several books and brochures on astrology were translated from English.

In 2001, the Triumph publishing house released “Astrology Self-Study Guide.”

The book became a bestseller and was reprinted by the publishing house for many years.

Two decades later, many famous young astrologers admitted that they began studying astrology using this book.

In 2020, the "Self-study Guide to Astrology" was supplemented, revised and began to be published by the Publishing Group “Ves".

From 2001 to 2004, Alexander was a representative of one of the Moscow companies in Cyprus.

In his free time, he became a certified PADI diving instructor.

He continued to work on the Galactica website, wrote articles, communicated with English colleagues-astrologers.

In 2003, he took up programming for mobile devices.

In 2004, he worked as a correspondent for the Moscow magazine "Underwater Club". He also traveled a lot and wrote articles for the magazine.

In early 2005, Alexander passed the test and was accepted to Glasgow Caledonian University, for the Enterprise Development System course and moved to Scotland.

This was a course of additional higher education in programming.

In those years, there was a special Scottish government scheme for foreign students where Graduates of Scottish universities had the right to work in Scotland after completing their education.

Alexander graduated with honors and received a valuable gift for the best thesis - a Dell laptop.

He was a talented programmer and always found work easily.

Since 2005, work he created a new website (Lunarium.co.uk) for an English-speaking audience, and continued to improve and update the Galactica website.

The Triumph publishing house also released the “Numerology Self-Study Guide”.

In 2007 and 2008, two books on programming were published in English. ”Java Drawing With Apache Batik” and “Tapestry 5. Building Web Applications”.

Alexander has always been interested in alternative medicine methods.

Living in Scotland, he studied homeopathy at the English School of Homeopathy in Devon, under the guidance of Misha Norland.

For two years, he flew to England for seminars every month on weekends.

All his life he observed and studied the effects of homeopathy on himself and his loved ones.

Then he became interested in alchemy.

He flew to Oregon, USA, several times to study at a Summer school and dreamed of making spagyric elixirs himself.

He also practiced Reiki. He became a Reiki Master and Teacher in 2015.

In 2010, he left the security of a permanent job and began working on contracts, which was a very important and large-scale change in his life.

Decided to move closer to London to the town of Southend-on-Sea.

In May 2013, he completed courses in Vedic astrology and Jyotish at DIRAH Academy UK.

In September 2013, he received a Doctor of Philosophy in Metaphysics from Calamus International University.

Since December 2014, he studied and received an honors degree from the University of Wales in 2019 in the specialty "Cultural Astronomy and Astrology". (University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, postgraduate diploma in “Cultural Astronomy and Astrology with merit).

In 2018, Alexander moved to Bulgaria where, in a spacious office with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and the sea, among the books that he had loved all his life, Alexander began writing his books on astrology and numerology.

In five years, he wrote 14 books. The last book that was published during his lifetime was “Astrology of Relocations”. He often called it “my magnum opus”.

His capacity for work was fantastic.

During these years, he continued to give lectures, seminars, conduct personal consultations, create courses and give interviews.

He left behind his drafts and ideas for two more books on heliocentric and meteorology, which may be written by his colleagues.

In his short life, Alexander managed to create a huge intellectual legacy, he always seemed to be in a hurry to do more and more.
