The Least Known Side of the Moon

Welcome to Lunarium!

Dear friends,

Thank you very much for your feedback and sorry for my delay with answers. The reason is that I started rebuilding Lunarium from scratch, putting it on a new technological platform. This will solve miscellaneous problems you are reporting to me, will add many new locations to the list of the cities and also add some new features requested by you.

This major rebuild however goes slowly because I was distracted to writing a book. The book is completed now and I am accelerating my work on Lunarium.

Please note that your messages, although remain mainly unanswered due to a severe lack of time, are always taken into account. As soon as new version of Lunarium will be ready, I will write you personally to inform about that.

Thanks a lot for coming and for helping me to make Lunarium better!

Alexander

The Moon is Increasing in Light The Moon is Increasing in Light

An auspicious time for affairs and businesses which are at an expansive stage of development, as well as for new beginnings. A growth phase: stimulate the growth of plants which bear fruit above the earth now, and cut hair to accelerate its growth.

The Moon is Increasing in Light The Moon is in Libra

Increased sociability, interest in new acquaintances, a desire for mutual understanding. Partnerships are in focus. Good for social gatherings, celebrations, business meetings and a romantic rendezvous. However, your ability to make decisions suffers because people are more prone to doubts and hesitation now.

What is Lunarium?

Lunarium is a collection of interactive web applications which can help you to discover some of the mysteries of our nearest cosmic neighbour, the Moon.

Through the centuries, different nations and cultures have accumulated a significant body of knowledge about the Moon. It is perhalps best of all preserved and systematized in the astrological traditions of different countries, but also folklore and that kind of traditional knowledge which is passed through generations from parents to their children contain many nuggets of the Lunar Lore.

Lunarium is a project in constant development. Right now, it contains the following branches:

Lunar Calendar displays the most important facts pertaining to the Moon's movement in the course of one calendar month: the Moon's Phases, the Signs of the Zodiac through which the Moon travels, Void-of-Course periods and Lunar Days. You can create a monthly Lunar Calendar for any month of the years 2006 - 2008. You will also find the explanations of what different abbreviations mean, and if you click on any record in the calendar, you will be shown the appropriate astrological interpretation of the factor.

Your Moon Sign is a free online calculator which will allow you to find out in which Sign of the Zodiac the Moon was situated at your birth. You will also be given an interpretation of your Moon Sign which might help you to better understand something important about yourself.

Jonas Method Calculator will be useful for those who want to conceive a healthy child of a certain gender or to use the discoveries of Dr. Eugen Jonas for a natural and healthy approach towards contraception.

Planetary Calendar introduces the concept of Planetary Hours and Days and displays the current Planetary Hour and Day for your chosen city as also a table of Planetary Hours for two days. If you are new to Planetary Hours, an article on the same page can serve as a good introduction. There are also three tables showing the dates of different stages of retrograde motion for Mercury, Venus and Mars.

The Articles page will contain a number of articles (there is only one at the moment) further describing and explaining the main features of the Lunarium Project.

The Downloads page already presents two free programs created as part of the Lunarium Project, and there will be more programs with time.

If you have a question or a comment, the Feedback page will allow you to easily submit your feedback. Alternatively, you can visit Lunarium Blog where you might occasionally find some interesting notes and discuss ideas which interest you.
